500% tariffs should be imposed on China: Bessant
The US-China trade war seems to be escalating. The US is threatening to increase tariffs on China by 500%. ‘85 US senators are seeking to authorize Trump to increase tariffs on China by 500% for buying Russian oil,’ US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant said. Although the name of Russian oil is mentioned above, analysts believe that these threats are for rare earth metals.
