AI Companies' Agreement Termed Illegal
Washington: A petition has been filed in a US court challenging the legality of an agreement reached by major AI companies to slow down the pace of artificial intelligence (AI) technology development due to safety concerns. The petition alleges that these large companies conspired to form a syndicate and entered into this agreement specifically to prevent others from emerging as competitors. Four AI users filed this petition in the Northern District Court of California on Saturday.
