Alert for SBI Account Holders
State Bank of India has decided to increase ATM charges. If customers use other bank ATMs more than the number of free transactions (5 per month), a charge of Rs. 23 + GST will be levied for each withdrawal. Even checking the balance or taking a mini statement will incur a charge of Rs. 11. Salary account holders get up to 10 free transactions per month. It stated that the increased charges will come into effect from December 2025.
