All Payments Through UPI... A Staggering ₹300 Lakh Crore
UPI transactions are breaking records. 85-90% of online payments are being made through it. In December alone, a staggering 21.6 billion transactions took place. Their value was ₹27.97 lakh crore. This is the highest in UPI history. On average, 698 million digital payments were recorded daily. A total of 228.3 billion transactions took place last year. It is noteworthy that their value amounted to ₹299.7 lakh crore, which is approximately 33% more than in 2024.
