America changes conditions in trade deals in favor of India
The White House has made key amendments to the India-US trade deal. The US, which had earlier said that India would definitely buy $500 billion worth of goods (Commits), has now changed it to 'Intends'. The US has also removed the point that India would reduce tariffs on pulses. Instead of India removing the digital tax, the two countries have changed the issue to one that will be discussed between the two countries.
