As Jadeja's Successor...
Manav Suthar performed brilliantly in his debut Test match. The youngster from Rajasthan first impressed with the bat, scoring 28 runs, and subsequently tormented the Afghan batters. Claiming a wicket in his very first over, Manav demonstrated excellent turn and the ability to consistently hit the stumps. With a total haul of six wickets, he became only the second Indian bowler this century to take five wickets in a debut first innings. Thanks to this talent, 23-year-old Manav is being hailed as the successor to veteran Ravindra Jadeja.
