August 15th.. is special for these countries too
August 15 is very special for Indians. Along with us, 5 other countries are celebrating Independence Day today. North and South Korea celebrate Liberation Day today to mark their liberation from Japan in 1945. Similarly, Bahrain gained independence from the British in 1971, the Republic of Congo from France in 1960, and Liechtenstein from the German Confederation in 1940.
