Bhatti Vikramarka makes a key request to Nirmala Sitharaman
Telangana: Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka requested Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to grant permission to raise Rs. 70,925 crore through the open market to repay the loans taken by the state government. The loans were taken from various agencies for projects like Kaleshwaram and Mission Bhagiratha and need to be repaid. He requested that these loans, which are under a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), be brought under the FRBM (Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management) framework.
