Brutal Murder of a Five-Year-Old Girl
Hyderabad: A young man brutally murdered a five-year-old girl out of a grudge after being fired from his job as a security guard. While everyone was occupied with Bathukamma celebrations, the perpetrator entered the gated community, bound the child's hands and feet, tightened a noose around her neck, tied a stone to her waist, and dumped her into the complex's water sump before fleeing. After midnight, he called to claim he had kidnapped the girl and demanded a ransom of ₹20 lakh for her release. Eventually, the child's body was discovered in the sump at dawn.
