Bye bye to bikes in India.. Jai to scooters!
A report by ‘Equirus Securities’ has revealed that there will be a big change in the two-wheeler market. According to this.. the number of scooters will exceed the number of bikes in the next ten years. This is due to the rise of EVs, urbanization and the increase in the number of women drivers. The share of EV scooters is expected to reach 38% by 2030 and more than 80% by 2040. Due to convenience and low maintenance costs, scooter sales are surging more than bikes.
