Nutritionists say that drinking water immediately after a meal is not good for health. Doing so dilutes enzymes and digestive juices, slowing down digestion. As a result, the body does not absorb nutrients properly. Insulin levels also increase, leading to fat accumulation. For better digestion, it is better to drink water 10 minutes before eating or half an hour after eating. If necessary, you can drink small sips in between meals.
