Coral Wearing Rules: Astrologer's Advice
In astrology, coral, one of the Navaratnas, gives good luck, strength, and auspicious results. Coral, which is ruled by the planet Mars, has a positive effect on matters such as courage, self-confidence, health, financial status, and marriage. It is very important to follow the correct method and rules for wearing it.
Coral is a very special gem among the Navaratnas that gives good luck, strength, and auspicious deeds. Accordingly, it is very important to follow some rules while wearing coral, as stated by renowned astrologer and architect Dr. Basavaraj Guruji in his Nityabhakti program.
According to Guruji, one should choose a pure coral of at least two carats according to one's horoscope. It should be worn on the ring finger, i.e. the sun finger. The coral ring should be open at the bottom. It is very auspicious to wear it on Tuesday by anointing it with milk through the hands of elders - parents, teachers, priests or scholars. Coral is preferred over diamond in gemology. It reduces stress, helps in making good decisions and removes fear.
Wearing coral is very good for police officers, army personnel, politicians, those who need leadership qualities, mining and those in difficult jobs. But coral is not suitable for all zodiac signs. Taurus, Aquarius and Libra should not wear coral. If Taurus wears it, mental instability may increase. It can cause problems for Aquarius and Libra. Wearing ten rings on ten fingers or all the Navaratnas just because there is money is not appropriate. It can have side effects such as physical weakness.
While wearing coral, one should chant the mantra “Dharanigarbha Sambhutam Vidyutkanti Samaprabham Kumaram Shaktihasthancha Mangalam Pranamamyaham” 21 times. Guruji has advised that it is most auspicious to place it at the feet of Lord Subrahmanya or to anoint it in milk by a Guru or elder at home and wear it on Tuesday.
