Do you know about artificial rain?
Cloud seeding is a method of artificially causing rain. In this method, special planes fly over black (nimbostratus) clouds and spray a mixture of chemicals like silver iodide, potassium iodide, and dry ice. This causes the water droplets in the clouds to condense and fall as rain. This process takes 30 minutes. The Delhi government is reportedly spending Rs. 3 crore for this.
