Faced discrimination... and was subjected to verbal attacks: Khawaja
Australian player Usman Khawaja, who announced his retirement from international cricket, made sensational remarks. He said, "Discrimination has not been completely eradicated in Australia. I have also faced it. Islamophobia is still prevalent." He lamented that when he missed the recent Perth Test due to a back injury, former players and the media attacked him verbally.
