Flash Floods Can Be Predicted 24 Hours in Advance: Pichai
Google CEO Sundar Pichai announced the development of a new AI model named 'Ground Source,' which is capable of predicting sudden urban floods 24 hours in advance. He stated that, with the assistance of 'Gemini,' this model has analyzed over 2.6 million flood incidents across more than 150 countries. Google has made this data available on its 'Flood Hub' platform to support scientific research and ensure public safety. Users can search for a specific area name within the platform; if a flood threat exists, it will be indicated by a red marker.
