Funds released for the Employment Guarantee Scheme
Andhra Pradesh: The Centre has released Rs. 665 crore as the first tranche for the year 2025-26 under the material component of the Employment Guarantee Scheme. The state government's share has been added to this amount by Rs. 166 crore. Rs. 50 crore has been released through the Rashtriya Gram Swarajya Abhiyan (RGSA) for the construction of Panchayat buildings, computerization of records, and innovative practices in the state. The state will add Rs. 33 crore to this.
