Gas deposits discovered in the Andaman Basin!
Oil India has discovered new natural gas deposits in the Andaman Sea. Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that these deposits were discovered in the Srivijayapuram-3 well in Andaman waters. It was revealed that this well is 15 kilometers off the east coast of the Andaman Islands and is 900 feet deep. It was confirmed that there is natural gas in the well here and samples have been sent to the lab to determine the percentage of gases in the gas mixture.
