Halt proceedings against Rahul
New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has received significant relief regarding the disproportionate assets case. On Monday, the Supreme Court directed the Allahabad High Court (Lucknow Bench) to stay the proceedings on a petition filed against him concerning this matter. It clarified that neither the CBI nor the ED should submit any report to the Allahabad High Court regarding this case. A three-judge bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi, and Justice V. Mohanan issued these orders.
