How many were caught in drunk driving cases?
Despite repeated warnings, drunk drivers did not change their ways this time either. 2,731 drunk driving cases were registered across Hyderabad on New Year's Eve. Police said that 1,198 people were caught driving under the influence in the Hyderabad Commissionerate area, 928 in Cyberabad, and 605 in the Future City area. Cases have been registered against all of them. They clarified that such inspections will continue regularly for the safety of the public.
