HPV Vaccination Extended by Three Months
Health Minister Satya Kumar announced that the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) vaccine, used to prevent cervical cancer, will be administered for another three months. He stated in a release that the Central Government has issued directives to the states to this effect. He revealed that 271,071 girls aged between 14 and 15 in the state have already received the HPV vaccine.
