Husband kills wife and cuts her into 72 pieces... This is the High Court's verdict
In the sensational case from Dehradun where a husband killed his wife and chopped her into 72 pieces, the Uttarakhand High Court rejected the convict's bail petition. It upheld the Dehradun court's verdict of life imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 15 lakhs against the accused, Rajesh Gulati. Rajesh and Anupama were married in 1999. Due to marital discord, the husband killed his wife on October 17, 2010, chopped her body into pieces, and hid them in a refrigerator. The matter came to light on December 12 of the same year.
