Hyderabad secures two consecutive wins in SMAT, tops the table.
The Indian team is currently playing a T20 series against South Africa. Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj is not part of the Indian squad for this series. Siraj has been out of the Indian T20 team for quite some time. He is currently working hard in domestic cricket to regain his place in the team. Siraj is currently playing in India's domestic T20 tournament, the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In this tournament, he has been a formidable force against the batsmen so far.
Siraj dismisses two Rajasthan batsmen
Mohammed Siraj is wreaking havoc with his bowling in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025. Earlier, in the match against Mumbai, Siraj took 3 wickets for 17 runs in 3.5 overs. Now, in the match against Rajasthan, he took 2 wickets for just 23 runs in his 4-over spell. In this match, he dismissed Mahipal Lomror and Rahul Chahar. Siraj is continuously proving himself ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup. It remains to be seen whether the selectors will give him a chance in the T20 World Cup squad.
Mahipal Lomror scores the most runs for Rajasthan
In this match against Hyderabad, Rajasthan got the opportunity to bat first. Batting first, Rajasthan set a target of 179 runs for Hyderabad. Mahipal Lomror scored the most runs for Rajasthan with 48 runs. Apart from him, Kunal Singh Rathore contributed 27 runs, Mukul Choudhary 20 runs, and Kamlesh Nagarkoti 29 runs. Rahul Buddhi also scored 55 runs off 36 balls. Hyderabad won the match by 6 wickets. Tanmay received the Player of the Match award for his outstanding batting performance. In the SMAT Super League Group B, the Hyderabad team is currently at the top of the points table with two wins in two matches. Their next match will be against Haryana on December 16th.
