India Enters Second Phase of Nuclear Program: Modi
PM Modi has announced that India has reached the second phase of its nuclear program. He revealed that the Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) at Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, has attained criticality. He stated that this reactor generates more fuel than it consumes. He further noted that this achievement lays the foundation for generating electricity using thorium reserves during the third phase of the nuclear program.
