India is number one in the world in GDP growth
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revised India's GDP growth forecast for 2025. The International Monetary Fund, which had predicted 6.4% growth this year, has raised it to 6.6%. It has estimated that it will be 6.2% in 2026. This is the highest among emerging market and developing economies. Global growth is expected to slow to 3.2% this year and 3.1% next year. It said that US growth is expected to increase to 2.1% in 2026 from 2.0% this year.
