Krishna River in full flow
Hyderabad: While the Godavari has calmed down following a reduction in rainfall in its upper catchment areas, the Krishna River continues to flow vigorously. On Monday, the Almatti project received an inflow of 1.36 lakh cusecs, while 1.50 lakh cusecs were released downstream. The Narayanpur project is receiving an inflow of 1.28 lakh cusecs and releasing 1.29 lakh cusecs. The Jurala project is receiving 1.92 lakh cusecs of floodwater and releasing nearly the same amount downstream.
