Many problems with iodine deficiency in pregnancy
Iodine is very important for thyroid function, physical and mental development. If pregnant women are deficient in iodine, the children born will not have mental and physical development. They suggest including milk, yogurt, brown rice, fish, salt, cod liver oil, meat, eggs, green vegetables, and millets in the diet.
