Missile Attack from a Drone
Alwal: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has taken another significant stride towards realizing the vision of 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' (Self-Reliant India). The organization successfully completed the developmental trials for a drone-launched guided missile—specifically the UAV-Launched Precision Guided Missile (ULPGM-V3)—at a DRDO test range located near Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. Typically, missiles launched from drones are used to destroy enemy battle tanks, bunkers, and radar installations located on the ground.
