Pakistan Faces Embarrassment After Failing to Pay Hotel Bills
Pakistan, having mediated peace talks between the United States and Iran, faced embarrassment after failing to settle the bills owed to the hotel that served as the venue for the negotiations. Representatives from both nations held discussions at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad between the 10th and 12th of this month. However, as the government failed to clear the dues, the hotel's management ultimately had to absorb the costs themselves. Reports indicate that the nightly rate for the Presidential Suite at this hotel is ₹2.21 lakhs, while standard rooms are priced at ₹14,896 per night.
