Rain Brings Relief
Anakapalli: The district experienced contrasting weather conditions on Monday. Intense heat prevailed from morning until afternoon. Later in the day, the sky turned overcast, bringing heavy rainfall to some mandals and moderate rain to others. Accompanying the rain were gusty winds that caused tree branches to snap and electric poles to topple. Farmers are optimistic that this rainfall will benefit paddy nurseries and pulse crops.
