Hyderabad: Tilak Varma emerged as the highest-priced cricketer in the TG20 Cricket League. During the league's auction held at Ramoji Film City on Sunday, the Medak Falcons team secured Tilak for ₹33 lakh. Eight franchises collectively purchased 160 players. Each team acquired 20 players, ensuring opportunities for at least four cricketers from the districts. Notably, all-rounder CV Milind fetched the next highest price after Tilak.
