Rs. 2,780 crore funds released for municipalities
Telangana: The government has released Rs. 2,780 crore funds for municipalities in the state. Approval has been given for 2,432 works in 138 municipalities and corporations. CM Revanth has issued orders to immediately call tenders and take up the works. Rs. 15 crore each has been released for new and old municipalities, Rs. 20 crore each for municipalities merged with gram panchayats, and Rs. 30 crore each for newly formed municipal corporations.
