Selling the same property repeatedly... a ₹500 crore fraud!
A company CEO committed a massive fraud by selling the same property repeatedly. Dhruv Dutt Sharma, CEO of '32nd Avenue', convinced investors that he was undertaking a project in Gurugram (Haryana) and that there would be monthly income. He took crores of rupees from each person. When asked for returns, he threw up his hands. The fraud came to light after complaints from the victims. Police said that Dhruv has defrauded people of over ₹500 crore. They stated that there are a thousand victims.
