Shreyas shines after recovering from injury
Indian star batter Shreyas Iyer impressed in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Playing his first match as Mumbai captain yesterday after recovering from an injury, he scored 82 runs off just 53 balls. His innings included 10 fours and 3 sixes. With this performance, Shreyas is almost certain to secure a place in the playing XI for the ODI series against New Zealand, which starts on January 11th. It is known that Shreyas was injured while playing an ODI match in Australia last year and was out of action for two months.
