Sindhu and Tanvi in quarters
Sydney: Telugu star PV Sindhu and young shuttler Tanvi Sharma have reached the quarters of the Australian Open. In the second round match on Thursday, Sindhu won 22-20, 21-12 against fellow shuttler Isharani and 17-year-old Tanvi won 21-13, 21-15 against Indian shuttler Malvika Bansod to take the lead. In men's doubles, MR Arjun-Hariharan defeated Michael Owen-Dylan Soedjasa (New Zealand) 21-17, 21-7 to enter the next round.
