Suryakumar surpasses Babar Azam
In the T20 World Cup match held in Mumbai, Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav set a new record. In his debut match against the USA, he impressed with 84 runs (not out), erasing Babar Azam's record. He became the second player to score the highest runs in a T20 World Cup captaincy debut. He surpassed Babar Azam's record of 68 runs against India in 2021 and is now second only to Chris Gayle (88).
