A terrorist attack took place on the grand Christopher Street Day (Pride) celebration in the German capital Berlin. A man drove a van into the crowd participating in the celebration. He hit some people and then attacked them with weapons. A woman died in the attack and 29 people were injured. Police have identified 21-year-old Abdul Ballot as the main suspect. German authorities have revealed that he has links to terrorist ideology in the past and also has a criminal record.
