Terrorist attack... Sydney Test amidst tight security
The fifth Test between Australia and England, part of the Ashes series, is set to begin on Sunday in Sydney. A terrorist attack recently took place at Bondi Beach. In this context, security has been tightened inside and outside the Sydney ground. New South Wales Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon said on Saturday that people need not be afraid, as armed police will be patrolling the area. The stringent security measures implemented during the fourth Test in Melbourne will be continued in Sydney as well.
