There is no truth in those allegations: Dharmasthala temple chief
Temple chief Virendra Heggade has denied allegations of rape and murder in Karnataka's religious places for the past two decades. He said he welcomes the SIT investigation into the matter. "It hurts a lot that false propaganda is being spread against us. The truth should come out as soon as possible. It is believed that if someone dies in religious places, they will attain salvation. If someone dies, the panchayat staff would bury the bodies," he said in an interview.
