Urban level progress in Panchayats: Pawan
Andhra Pradesh: Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan said that it is necessary to clean up the flawed policies implemented in the past in the village panchayats. He reviewed with the top officials the reclassification of panchayats and the implementation of new policies. He said that plans should be prepared to make changes to the 48-year-old staff model. Grades will be decided for panchayats on the basis of income, population and area. The new policies will be brought before the cabinet soon.
