Vande Bharat Sleeper to be launched on January 17th
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the country's first Vande Bharat sleeper train on January 17th. Full services will be available on the Guwahati-Kolkata route from the 18th. This train, with 16 coaches and 823 seats, features aircraft-like amenities, automatic doors, and improved safety systems. Ticket prices have been set between Rs. 2,300 and Rs. 3,600 for middle-class passengers. It will travel at a speed of 180 km per hour.
