What if water is found in the southeast instead of the northeast?
Vastu expert Krishnadiseshu suggests that if water is not found when drilling a borewell in the northeast, then water resources might be available in the southeast. He says, "Drilling a borewell in the southeast is not wrong. Finding water itself should be considered fortunate. However, to mitigate the negative effects of a southeast borewell, a soak pit or water storage tank should be constructed in the northeast. It should always be kept filled with water. By constructing a soak pit, groundwater can be protected, and Vastu balance can be maintained."
