Will applications for liquor shops reach one lakh?
Telangana: Applications for liquor shops in the state are close to one lakh. The Excise Department said that 89,805 applications have been received so far. It has been revealed that the highest number of applications was received in Rangareddy (D) at 27 thousand and the lowest was in Adilabad (D) at 3,894. It is estimated that it will reach one lakh as there is a possibility till tomorrow. It is reported that about Rs. 2,700 crore has been collected from the applications received for 2,620 liquor shops.
