Woman Raped on Flight; Indian Passenger Accused
Australian police have reported that an Indian national named Sudheer Kumar (52) allegedly raped a woman seated next to him while traveling on a flight from Singapore to Australia. The police added that the alert Scoot Airlines crew intervened and moved the victim to a different seat. Officials stated that the accused was taken into custody immediately upon the flight's landing. Notably, under local laws, the accused faces the possibility of a maximum prison sentence of 12 years.
