$100,000 Fee Extended for Another Year
Washington: US President Trump has extended for another year the $100,000 (Rs 95 lakh) fee that companies must pay to hire foreign employees on H-1B visas. He issued the order on Saturday, as the validity of the previous year's directive was set to expire at the end of this month. Trump stated that this fee led to a 92% drop in H-1B visa registrations from major IT companies.
