2,123 BC Certificates Issued for Castes Removed from List; BC Commission Orders Inquiry
Hyderabad: BC Commission Chairman G. Niranjan stated that 2,123 caste certificates were issued in the names of castes that had been removed from the state's Backward Classes (BC) list. He ordered officials to conduct a comprehensive inquiry into the matter within two months. He directed CCLA Secretary T. Venkat to take action against the officials and staff responsible for issuing these certificates and called for the cancellation of certificates issued over the past three months under the names of the excluded castes.
