2.61 lakh houses for the poor by June: Minister
Andhra Pradesh: Minister Parthasarathy said that the government's goal is to provide permanent houses and house sites to all the eligible people by 2029. 'We will complete 2.61 lakh houses by June and hand them over to the beneficiaries. We have estimated that 7.5 lakh people out of the 10 lakh people who applied may be eligible. The cabinet has decided to provide permanent houses to all of them by 2029 and sites to the remaining 2.5 lakh people,' the minister said.
