₹300 crore loan for Tidco Homes
Andhra Pradesh: The government has approved a loan of ₹300 crore to pay the bills of Tidco houses. It has ordered that ₹200 crore be given to Tidco from Rajiv Swagruha and ₹100 crore from APUFIDC. Meanwhile, although HUDCO has sanctioned ₹4450 crore for Tidco houses, work has stalled in many places due to delays in the government and beneficiaries' share of funds. Tidco has informed the government that it has pending bills of ₹450 crore.
