3,300 Athletes Selected for District-Level Sports Competitions
Chittoor: A total of 3,300 athletes have been selected for the district-level competitions leading up to the Amaravati Championship 2026. The selection trials, conducted at the constituency level, concluded on Friday. Competitions were held in athletics, archery, and weightlifting for boys and girls in the Under-17 and Under-23 categories. DSDO Uday Bhaskar stated that 4,713 athletes participated in these selection trials across all constituencies in the district, with 3,300 being selected.
