₹38,306 Crore Inflow into Equity Funds
The Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) revealed on Monday that equity mutual fund schemes received net inflows of ₹38,306 crore in September—a 31% increase compared to the ₹29,329 crore recorded in the previous month. This marks the highest level of investment since April (when inflows stood at ₹38,440 crore). This was driven by investors continuing to invest in small- and mid-cap funds, even as markets experienced significant volatility and foreign investments were flowing out.
