400 Beds for International Patients
Hyderabad: The government is focusing on attracting international patients visiting the state for medical treatment to government hospitals. It plans to make 400 beds available in Hyderabad specifically for them. Plans are underway to set up 100 beds each at the TIMS facilities in Sanathnagar, Alwal, and LB Nagar, along with an additional 100 beds at NIMS Hospital. A committee comprising senior officials has already been constituted for this purpose. Experts suggest that high medical standards and superior infrastructure are essential to attract foreign medical tourists.
